Is there any reason to venture all the way to Heliopolis (disregard this if you already live there) ? Living in downtown Cairo, honestly, I rarely find one (you hate me now, I know). It’s not that we don’t all like Heliopolis, it’s just that it takes a good hour to get there, or more if there’s traffic. And, being Cairo, there’s always traffic.
But to be fair, Heliopolis is a cool place. And the Fairmont Heliopolis & Towers is probably one of the coolest spots to be found out there. Why is this so? First off, if you go and book Thursday night, you’ll get Friday night for free. Not to mention their complimentary brunch, all the amenities including access to the gym, sauna and jacuzzi, breakfast and kids who share a room with their mums and dads stay for free!
